ONGOING FORMATION

Formation as a Salvatorian Sisters does not end with perpetual profession. Initial Formation marks the beginning of a long series of learning experiences which continue during the course of our lifetime. Ongoing formation helps to ensure that we continue to grow in love with the Lord through our prayer life, in our understanding of who we are as a child of God by embracing our gifts and limitations, and in knowledge and deeper meaning in the life that we live.

Even after a religious makes her final commitment an occasion is set before her to renew and refresh her religious life by attending renewal programs, retreats, seminars and other refreshment courses. Thus, there is no end to formation in a person’s life. Every day is a new day; every moment is a new experience and this leads every individual energized in their community life as well as in their entrusted apostolate.
